Borders are recent.
For almost all of human history nobody needed a document to move. The passport, as we live it, is barely a century old.
Nations are not the problem.
Laws, languages and cultures are worth keeping. Countries can stay exactly what they are to their people. Only the wall between them has to go.
It has been done before.
Within living memory Europe took down its internal borders and kept every language. The shared market came first, in 1957. The treaty that opened the borders came nearly thirty years later. Infrastructure before politics, on one continent. It can be done on the next.
It starts with infrastructure, not with governments.
